7 Months old

Today Annabelle turns 7 months.  I know I keep saying this but, time is flying by so quick!  We had a nice week, the weather has been very hot so Saturday we tried to go out for a boat ride.  Unfortunately, the boat wouldn't start so the three of us spent a couple hours at the marina hanging out.  Annabelle didn't know any different, we played, took pictures, and had fun.

Sunday Brian did an annual Charity Motorcycle ride for the Mary Cariola home here in Rochester that houses and has a school for special needs children that can't live at home.  We went last year when I was pregnant but couldn't go this year.  Instead Annabelle and I went down to Lockport to see my Uncle Andy, Aunt Sally, cousin Becki, her boyfriend, & her two kids.  They drove their camper up and stayed at a campground not far from Niagara Falls.  We had a very nice visit and they got to meet Annabelle for the first time.

On a personal note, I went out for the first time since Annabelle was born.  I belong to a group of new moms and typically we do meet ups during the day with the babies.  This time our outing was dinner & drinks downtown Friday night.  Brian stayed with Annabelle and they did just fine, after a little working with her taking a bottle from someone other than mommy.  It was nice to get out and socialize without holding Annabelle almost the entire time.  We are thinking about doing this maybe once a month which will be nice.  I included a picture of all of us at dinner looking so nice and no baby spit up on any of us!

I got some cute pictures in the past week.  The two of Annabelle and I are before and after a walk in the heat.  I also got a picture of her before yoga this morning and a few with daddy.  We should have our professional pictures back before my next blog post, I can't wait to see them.  I may even post some before next weekend if I have time.
