15 months old

Another month has flown by and I find myself trying to recall what all we did.  I know there was never a dull moment, it's just remembering everything when I sit down to the computer.  As of yesterday Annabelle now has 7 teeth, four in the front and three molars.  She is such a trooper with getting them.  I do notice she doesn't want to eat as much at times but she's handling it very well otherwise.

Speaking of eating, she has started eating more solids this past month.  She has had pancakes, french toast, grilled cheese, french fries and toast with jelly.  I have learned that she loves syrup and ketchup so if you can dip it in one of those she will eat it.  She also likes red hot and lemons which was a total surprise to us!  We thought we would get some funny videos and instead she was sucking on the lemon with a smile.  I'm going to start trying to dip diced veggies and see if she likes that.

We had a doctors appointment for GI on Friday and she weighs in at a whopping 18lbs 3oz and is 29 1/2 inches long.  She is defiantly on the low side of the charts but she's eating well, other than when her teeth are bothering her, so we are not too worried.  Her 15 month appointment with the pediatrician is this Thursday.

She is continuing to sign to communicate with us.  Her favorite is still more but she also does all done, diaper change, eat, milk, and most recently shoes.  We had a signing play date where we learned some new songs and signs to work into our daily routine.  I think she's trying to do some of the others, I just haven't learned her way of doing them.

One thing I just realized today is that she is starting to get frustrated that she can't do certain things.  She was trying to pick up a piece of grilled cheese and she was getting very angry that she couldn't get it.  I tried to help her and she pushed it away.  I'm worried we may start seeing more and more of this behavior as she mentally is ready to run around and be more independent but physically isn't ready.  Luckily we have a very good team of therapists that will help us work through these frustrations and hopefully adapt her toys to her level of play.

I have included lots of pictures of play dates, playing at the Y, and the park.  We have had an unseasonably warm spring so we've gotten a lot of outdoor time already this year.  Today we took her new water table outside to play on, she had a great time splashing around in it.  My girlfriend did another photo shoot of Miss Annabelle so there are a bunch of pictures from that.
