Last weekend we changed it up a little bit. We drove out to B. Forman Park on the lake and had a picnic. After we walked along the lake and enjoyed some beautiful weather. We tried a second park for a longer walk but it was packed so we decided to head home. It was Annabelle's first outing since March 13th, her last day of school.
Sunday was supposed to be Annabelle's recital with Ashford Dance Company. She loved her hip hop class this year and is enjoying seeing everyone via Zoom dance classes. Sunday they dressed up in old costumes and danced together by age. Annabelle is always up for dance and any reason to dress in dance outfits!
It was a good week of school. Annabelle loves all the zoom calls but I can tell she is really missing everyone at Dewitt. This week was teacher appreciation so the neighborhood got together to take a picture to thank our teachers (with social distance of course).
Today Annabelle's PT came to the house and made a chalk obstacle course on our driveway. She loves it and must have went through it at least 30 times! We have such an amazing team and I'm grateful for them everyday during the time!
Things are starting to open up around the country but we have no plans on easing up our social distancing or pause at home. After talking to Annabelle's pediatrician we have decided to keep her home until it is safer for her. She's high risk due to her CP and hypotonia. I'm sure once the weather warms up and we can get into the pool she won't mind being home at all :-)
